I'm a lifelong student of music and amateur singer. I sang all through school with church and school choirs and then stopped after High School to concentrate on college and life in general. I never lost my love of choral singing and hoped at some point to return.
After a chance encounter with a member, I started with Musical Feast in the fall of 2000, beginning again after 15 years of NOT singing. I've been with Musical Feast; now Lewisville Civic Chorale ever since.
I am also a member of Resounding Harmony of Dallas and The New Collection. I have sung intermittently with the choir of the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation. During my time with all of these choruses I’ve enjoyed performing a large range of musical styles from classical choral works, jazz, pop, standards and show tunes. I’ve gained broad choral experience through participation in these choirs and under the tutelage of the fabulous directors (past and present) of these three groups. I’ve had the amazing opportunities to perform not only within Lewisville but most recently The Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and Carnegie Hall in New York.
I truly believe music feeds the soul and will continue to seek out musical challenges and share the joy of music with anyone who cares to listen. Supporting the arts, not only in our own community, but throughout the area is of great importance to me. Giving back through song is a truly wonderful experience.
